BB Home Solutions – a tradition of family excellence.

Founded in the 1940s, shortly after the war, our business heritage began with a strong commitment to rebuilding and improving local homes, helping to restore communities in the aftermath of the conflict. It was during this time that the ‘BB’ in BB Home Solutions was established, symbolising the dedication and hard work of my grandfather Basil Brotherhood. From those humble beginnings, my own business has grown, passing down a legacy of trusted craftsmanship, exceptional service and a commitment to our community that continues to this day.

My dad, Bob, was the one who taught and inspired me. Starting as a cabinet maker, Bob transitioned into the building trade and founded BB Builders in 1976. The company thrived in Sussex for many years until his retirement. Now in his eighties, he continues to volunteer at both Amberley Museum and the Weald and Downland Museum. Bob still takes great joy in crafting wooden furniture and toys, which he lovingly makes for his four grandchildren.

At 19 I bought my first renovation project and continued to refurbish properties, and gain professional qualifications, whilst working in my chosen career as a police dog handler until I started BB Home Solutions and transitioned my skills from policing to helping customers renovate their homes.
